Protests as to the state of the pitch, markings accessory equipment or the ball SHALL be made to the Referee BEFORE the commencement of the game. If, in the opinion of the captain of the team concerned, the pitch has become unplayable, the captain of the team concerned shall IMMEDIATELY inform the Referee, in the presence of the opposing captain.
(ii). Protests against incidents which occur during a game shall be directed to the referee by the team captain IMMEDIATELY after the disputed event and BEFORE the resumption of play.
(iii). Protests against the eligibility of players taking part in a game SHALL be made to the referee and the Match Commissioner IMMEDIATELY on conclusion of the game.
(iv). ALL protests shall be confirmed to the Match Commissioner (if present) at the conclusion of the game.
(v). NO PROTESTS SHALL BE ENTERTAINED AGAINST THE REFEREEāS DECISIONS ON POINTS OF FACT CONNECTED WITH PLAY, SUCH DECISIONS BEING FINAL.
ALL Protests MUST be lodged, in writing, (NEITHER e-mail nor FAX is acceptable) with the Secretariat, BFA within forty eight (48) hours of the event, excluding weekends and holidays and MUST be accompanied by a fee of fifty dollars ($50).
Failure to comply with the procedures detailed at 14A and 14B SHALL render the protest(s) invalid.
APPEALS
All appeals, SHALL be submitted, in writing, (NEITHER e-mail nor FAX is acceptable) to the Secretariat, BFA, within three (3) working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays, of notification of the decision out of which the appeal arises, and SHALL be accompanied by a fee of one hundred dollars (BDS $ 100.00).
