Shante is the BFA Women's League player of the week.

Shante Padmore is the player of the week coming out of match day one of the 2016 Women’s League which got going on Sunday at the Emmerton playing field.

Shante plays on the left side for ESFC Unity Stars and was instrumental in their 1-1 draw against Mavericks. This young St. George resident who also represents Barbados in the U17 women’s squad is a former U15 national.

Fourth D Licence Course kicks off at the BOA

The BFA’s quest for continued education in football coaching continued today when it officially launched its fourth CONCACAF D Licence Coaching course at the Barbados Olympic Association earlier this morning. Live Your Goals finale signals the Start of 2016 Women's League

The BFA's 2016 Live Your Goals campaign came to an end last Saturday at the Wildey Astroturf. The event got going at around 1.00 p.m. with the final festival of the series which saw four others around the island.

Spartans conquer the beach to emerge Beach Soccer champions

Spartans Beach Soccer team are the kings of beach soccer in Barbados after they defeated Tsunami in the finals of the BFA’s first ever Beach Soccer Tournament on Friday night. Playing at Brandon’s Beach before a modest crowd, both teams provided load of excitement in a final which was too close to call until the final whistle.

Grassroots take stage in Mile and a Quarter

The BFA’s grassroots programme went to the north of the island recent with a festival at the White Hall playing field in Mile and a Quarter, St. Peter. Close to 50 boys between the ages of 5 and 15 turned up for the event with participants from the White Hall Football Club, Youth Milan, Sunrise Football Club, Gordon Greenidge Primary School and Coleridge and Parry t mention a few.

Club Licensing starts September 1, 2016

The 2017 Club Licensing process will begin on September 1, 2016. In order to obtain a Barbados Football Association Club License and subsequently become eligible to participate in the domestic club competition of the BFA for 2017, the club must meet all Domestic Criteria set out for 2017.

Spartans sizzle in sand and soccer showdown
