Close to 50 youngsters are currently undergoing a solid daily training regimen as the Barbados Football Association is hosting it annual National Summer Camp Programme. Twenty-six boys and 26 girls at present under the watchful eyes of Technical Director Ahmed Mohamed and the national team coaches as they are readied for upcoming competition.
With assignments for the Under-14 boys in Caribbean Football Union competition and the Under-15 girls at the CONCACAF level in the coming months, Mohamed said that the training was very focused for the two groups. “The boys are going to the Caribbean Challenge Series to prepare them for next year's CONCACAF Championship and the girls are going to the CONCACAF Under-15 Championship. So the camp is for the next four weeks to prepare them properly for those coming tournaments.” he said.
