The Barbados Football Association (BFA) and a member of staff have parted ways following a thorough investigation into misconduct allegations made by a female player against the staff member.
Following an investigation, which was conducted by the BFA and its legal team, President Randy Harris confirmed earlier today the staff member is no longer employed by the local football governing body.
“The welfare of our staff and our players is of utmost importance to the BFA. We have policies in place to make clear that we will not accept any form of misconduct or inappropriate behavior. We will always act in the best interests of our organization and of football in Barbados,” he said.
Given the sensitivity of the matter, the names of both the former staff member and the player will be withheld.
The BFA thanks all parties for their patience during this investigation, and thanks the public for their continued support.
